“Here in the corner attic of America, two hours’ drive from a rain forest, a desert, a foreign country, an empty island, a hidden fjord, a raging river, a glacier, and a volcano is a place where the inhabitants sense they can do no better, nor do they want to.” – Timothy Egan

Objects have power. They can represent who you are, where you\’ve been, and can elicit all sorts of memories. They don\’t have to be luxury items. In fact, they rarely are. They can be as simple as a coffee cup – or a paintbrush.

Brooke is no stranger to these objects. And Brooke is no longer a stranger to the gang at The Clover Café.

In Chapter 7, Brooke\’s breakfast habits become well-known, she reveals her connection to the Pacific Northwest, and takes an afternoon excursion.

So let’s keep reading. Here’s Chapter 7.

Remember, this is a shared experience. Your comments and suggestions at the end of each chapter will help us pick the best route so we can all end up back at Tall Clover Farms by the end of the book.

As always, the conversation starts here.
